We pride ourselves on being passionate about early childhood education and play based learning. We believe that our centre is our own little community in which we work as partners with our families.
At Early Learning Centre Hamilton Hill we encourage a family environment where children can grow and develop at their own pace. We provide a sensory garden which includes chickens, worm farm, vegetable patch and sensory plants. We provide a Kindy Program which includes Jolly Phonics which assists children with school readiness. We are open from 6:30am-6:00pm Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays), and we offer a before/ after school/ vacation care program with a bus service to the local schools.
Within our centre’s environment our qualified Educators work to supports the children learning and wellbeing. We involve children, parents and families, educators and the broader community when developing the program for each individual room. We embrace all cultures and celebrate diversity within the centre by embracing our families’ cultures. We believe it is very important to develop relationships with all families and we use a variety of ways to communicate to support this. We believe our centre provides a friendly environment which encourages family involvement.
Throughout the year the centre is involved in a variety of special events and celebrations. These include Christmas Parties, incursions, cultural celebrations etc. Our Programs are based around the Early Years Learning Framework which includes learning stories about children’s experiences with in the centre and spontaneous experiences based on children’s/ community interests.
